I love this guy
damn coffee looks like actual butthead
I wouldn’t be shocked if this is Tillman’s last album under the FJM persona. It certainly feels that way

He even said in that recent interview that this feels like his last album. If it is, it’s a hell of a way to go out.
iite just finished
Production, melodies were immaculate, up there with Honeybear and Pure Comedy.
I liked the writing better than GFC and Chloe, but outside of Mental Health I was overall still feeling like the writing is not at the same level as Honeybear and Pure Comedy. I just think he’s so much more potent and strong at writing when the lyrics aren’t vague/ambiguous. Not that there weren’t some really beautiful sentiments scattered throughout, but when he writes in a more direct/literal fashion he’s the best in the game.
Still a top 10 album of the year though, and probably my #3 Papa album behind Honeybear and Pure Comedy
Josh Tillman and the Accidental Dose video

He just confirmed on Twitter that it's his last album but that he will continue to make albums.

I should be the target audience for this dude but man I haven't liked his schtick for so long.

https://twitter.com/fatherjohnmisty/status/1860381308586971396Like I said before, think he’s just gonna start making music under his own name. This is the end of FJM but not the end of Josh Tillman
2nd listen and wow. The title track. The instrumentation. That sax bleeding through. This is real music
i saw something i shouldn't see
the awful truth, bare reality
one of my favorite lyrics on here. "Josh Tillman and the Accidental Dose" is so sick.
