i love this man and his art but this album is just kinda...existing. Nothing grabs me lyrically or thematically like his past 4.

I've only skimmed through it once but the reason I skimmed was because I was bored tbh. Will give it another chance but so far pretty let down. Nothing at all has stuck out to me so far lol. It's like he made some of his most instrumentally boring tracks without any of the interesting lyrics lol

always interesting to me that the Honeybear album seems to be everyone's go to record him but it's actually one of my least favorite personally...don't get me wrong the title track and The Night Josh Tillman Came To Our Apt. are excellent but the album as a whole is one that has never hit for me quite like his others maybe I just need to listen more
