The problem is a vicious cycle of people who feel a heightened level of entitlement due to going viral, therefore they feel like their opinion is the status quo, this gets viewed by the masses and ofc debated heavily, which in turn puts these same people on a pedestal therefore the cycle continues. This social media s*** had become such a cancer and as someone who was once addicted but finally broken free I feel like a lot of people would do better to log off and just interact with people irl as opposed to this bs
