stop the steal was a couple month long process, and trump still had a major platform to stoke the flames. hillary's emails are a near parallel (but on the offensive side of the ball instead of defensive for red team) and that train ran for years so we'll see, we're still in the first 24 hours. i agree with you that there is big potential but the circumstances are different. grassroot energy is certainly there though -- trump will be using this at all his rallies. will fox back him? is the question i ask. they want desantis now (and a lot of trumpers see him as a phony)
when i said roe v wade i meant more from the blue team side
i think it doesn't matter if this does or doesn't lead to an indictment of trump. If it doesn't then Trump and his allies can spin this into politically motivated partisan civil war and an extension of stop the steal rhetoric. If it does, then DeSantis can just do the exact same thing but with the addition of making it seem like Trump is a political prisoner - especially depending on how egregious a theoretical indictment actually is. dangerous territory
Nothing but another W for Trump. Nothing will come out of this and he will just go ultra victim mode about “deep state is out to get republicans” and his base will eat it right up
So what if the FBI did this to just prevent Trump from running again and allow Desantis the frontrunner nominee
What if nothing is found and this is just a dog whistle for his base to double down and now he looks like a matyr going into 2024
Whatever happened will be interesting assuming the FBI knows the optics and how this will look at this point on our political climate.

Either way it’s a W for republicans tbh
Gives them more incentive to vote and Trump and/or Desantis are both stronger candidates than anyone currently on the dems side

thats a good angle on it w/r/t desantis running if trump is legally barred from doing so
obviously there's a lot of barely concealed tension between him and trump and their squawking partisans
if trump can't run, desantis can frame himself as trump's advocate, and that will allow the two camps to put their arms down and support desantis without the bitterness that would result from desantis defeating trump in some way to get the nomination
Gen z more like to side with the GOP at this point then Dems tbh
it might be like 50-50 for gen z men. gen z white guys at the very least.
with gen z women, GOP are definitely way underwater
let's start a underground propaganda meme/actual campaign amongst far righters to get them in on defunding the FBI, maybe in 2024 the rep candidate will run on it
Drain the swamp
Abolish the three letter orgs
Balanize the USA
Its a PR move, Trump called it in. Real patriots know.
Photoshoot fresh, looking like wealth, about to call the FBI on myself
This is already dangerous af how much Trump’s Allies are losing their minds over this, going on networks & social media trying to spin this to stir people up. S*** is irresponsible. They’re just asking for more violence in the future. Just so corrupt
Enforcing the law regardless of the optics or politics surrounding it is corrupt 🤡
Hunter vs Don Jr, who wins? both fist to cuffs and election speaking.
objectively Hunter, crack rage is nuts
I don’t remember exactly what the debate was about that event
That article was great though
Fidelio told me I was an historically ignorant idiot to say that it feels like you guys might be in between a Beer Hall Putsh and a Reichstag Fire but Trump's own appointed Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff who went to Princeton and got to see Trump in his private moments at his worst absolutely thought so too
