I might have to agree on KOD. Scorpions got some hot trash on it, but it's also got six to seven amazing songs on it. I can barely remember anything off of KOD aside from once an addict and Kevin's heart
Off Season and 4YEO are better then Scorpion though.
Yeah. As someone who has always loved albums with no filler, I think that mindset has went too far with some people. Like Cole albums definitely have less “fillers” or “misses” than drake albums but drake albums are still better, even if less consistent there’s just more good stuff
Songs make albums
You already that confident that Off Season is better after a couple days? This s*** about to come and go. Off Season is 12 tracks and scorpion has 12 much better tracks
Regardless of the a***ogy, Kendrick still wins off quality alone.
Hence the title of the thread
I disagree, I listen to all 3 but Drake's music has me more impressed every single time. It's hard to speak on Kendrick because he's on a hiatus but DAMN was a step down from TPAB while Drake and Cole are reaching new heights this far into their career. Cole especially with Off Season.
But comparing Drake vs Cole I'm so engaged in Drake's music I stopped listening to a new Cole album just to hear him on a Nicki Minaj mixtape. Drake's quality is too consistently for any other rapper right now to compete.
I think it really depends on the next Kendrick album.
If it's another grand slam like his last 3, he definitely gets the #1. If it's an L though, he'll fall under Drake. Drake shoots and misses, but he scores way more then he misses.
Kendrick will never be worse then Cole though. GKMC and TPAB solitified him at worst in the #2 position.
Drake gets a lot of hits throughout the season but when it comes time to deliver a grand slam with an album, his inconsistency gets him.
Kendrick is more like a pinch butter who doesn't get the same number of at bats, but when he's at the plate, everyone expects something amazing to happen.
Cole is batting cleanup and hitting .230.

Alright well like what you wanna like
I'm not going through the DAMN. Argument with you again man. I respect your opinion on it, but I disagree.
They love to do this lmao
Threads need to state: which is the most “enjoyable” music.
What do you like to hear the most??
F*** critics, billboard, charts etc.....
Just rename the thread to that and to answer your question Drake by far is my most listened to
Cole can never be listed with GOATS because he has no identity, and God forbid kill me if I’m wrong, but he just doesn’t have that “it” factor for me.
Ironically his motto is “the real is back”
Bro leave that s*** up for Jeezy or sum lmao

Because usually something amazing DOES happen. That's why the people expect it.

"Drake and Cole are reaching new heights this far into their career"
That is absolutely not true lmao
Their best projects dropped 6-7 years ago at least, maybe longer

F*ck the Grammys, F*ck Billboard, F*ck the Charts!
Who drops the most quality tunes??
you got in order from left to right

Honest to God not trolling but Scorpion is Drake's best project and I'm tired of pretending it's not. Off Season will be compared to FHD in time

This is sophisticated level of trolling
Who can argue against this
I'd go further and say Kendrick is the only one with an objective masterpiece in his discog

I respect it! I don't agree, but I respect it.
For me, Cole peaked in the mixtape days, but I get that Off Season showed some big improvements. It's a solid project.
I usually play nice in these debates because sales are a legit metric but if we're throwing out sales it's Kendrick easily
Not even going to entertain a debate with y'all, Drake has been mid for years and Cole is off brand Kendrick
There are way better artists to put up against Kendrick in terms of quality than those two
literally nothing to discuss
2011 - 2017 Kendrick is not comparable with all these other corporate employees
They love to do this lmao

interesting point
Drake is for your heart, Kendrick is for your mind. I always saw it this way but I also understand that a lot of people are dumb and can't differentiate between the two
literally nothing to discuss

I love Cole and Drake, but the Kendrick disrespect is gross.
He will remind some of you fool's why he is one of the greatest. Y'all will not be ready when he finally drops.

Put Kendrick up against Danny Brown, Freddie Gibbs, Billy Woods, hell, in the mainstream Future or Thug. Lots of great rappers out there. The Big 3 hasn't really been all that for a while.

Honestly, "Big 3" and "Summer 2016" are memes which can be used as signs a person is nostalgic
How can DAMN be a step down from GKMC and TPAB and yet Scorpion is the best Drake album?
F*** is wrong with you. You earned that block.

We're reminded everyday lol.
I literally got an AD on instragram from diddy, and the ad was about Kendrick
(also could mean he dropping soon, why the F*** is diddy promoting Kendrick ads lol)
Honestly, "Big 3" and "Summer 2016" are memes which can be used as signs a person is nostalgic
Late stage millennial oldheads are going to be debating Drake/Kendrick/Cole while getting their hair cut until they die
This is why I think it's subjective.
Because music quality doesn't necessarily reflect effort.
Take WLR for example. I love the album, but can we honestly act like beats and the lyrics weren't extremely simple? The outcome is mostly what matters when it comes to talking bout quality. You can have a simple formula and it clicks, or try really hard and have it still sound bad.
the lyrics r probably the most effortful of carti’s
