Your second point is a better one, but there’s something to be said for pursuing the correct policy regardless of the political climate
Imo to the first point I worry about d*** dealers just adding the juuls they can grab or off brand pods to their menus. Which to be fair is a hypothetical. But the result is that we don’t have any way to hold the company behind them accountable once it moves under the table. Ironically, I’ve been arguing for Juul to be hit with some serious fines for their marketing for a while. Reform, not prohibition, is what I want to see. I’m glad you’re in a position that you feel able to quit in response to this, but I worry that thousands more won’t have the same reaction.
