1978 was pretty good aswell, i liked the characters in 1994 more tho

Didn’t think part 2 was as good as the first one. Still decent but everything was done better in 1994 imo

didn't like how pretty much all the bully characters got away clean while these nerdy, innocent kids got f\*\*\*ed up lmao...like the chick who kept calling Ziggy a witch gets knocked out but to our knowledge isn't killed, the douchey leader of Sunnyside's team gets away on the bus while the hot hippie chick gets killed, the Sunnyside kid holding the other kids "in jail" gets away but the kids "in jail" get f\*\*\*ed up...like I'm cool with innocents getting murked but at least balance it out a bit more

It's because only Shadyside residents are targeted by Fier/her killers

why'd they kill Sam's boyfriend then in the first one? (or did he have her blood on her idr)

Finished Part 2, while not as good as the first I still enjoyed it. A nice homage to Friday the13th while expanding the lore set up in the first. Excited for the finale next week

I think I like 1994 better than 1978 so far. Both movies are surprisingly fun watches with great soundtracks

I feel you fosho but I agree with what Vile said. I think Sam’s boyfriend was just in the way if I recall correctly. The axe dude was tryna kill Deena or Sam but missed and killed Sam’s bf instead

Just watched the first movie. Pretty enjoyable. Kinda cheesy but it was fun and had a nice soundtrack. Some real real dumb character choices (every decision after leaving the school was dumb as hell and ignored everything the characters learned and had at their disposal for no apparent reason)

Interested to see why the movies are coming out in a backwards order chronologically. Haven’t seen part 2 and maybe that’ll explain that. Like, is 1666 gonna be set also in the present day? Once I get to part 2 I guess I’ll have a better idea.

Happy to have a new little horror series to watch though

I actually liked Part 2 over Part 1.

thought 1 was ehhh. not bad but not really good either. just a cool late night popcorn flick that I probably would've enjoyed more as a teenager.

gonna watch 2 and 3 back to back at work this weekend

Part 3 out now too, will watch in an hour or so. First 2 were like 6-7/10 but they were pretty enjoyable.
