Lil Durk's producer says in a declaration in the murder-for-hire case that the "Wonderful Wayne and Jackie Boy" song with Babyface Ray, which prosecutors say bragged about the murder, was actually recorded seven months before the murder.

Durk's lawyers had Justin Gibson make this declaration in response to the indictment that says Durk "sought to commercialize S.R.’s death by rapping about his revenge on T.B with music that explicitly references audio from a news clip taken shortly after S.R.’s murder where T.B. screamed “no, no!” after seeing S.R.’s dead body."
