Brian Steel ask why the FBI did not have Kacey Hester on a wire tap asking Keith Jones (Flacka) or Kavon Grant (OTF Vonnie) about the murder-for-hire.
“That would’ve been good evidence.
They clearly know each other.
Hey Grant, can you believe this Joker, and he fired you.”
Brian Steel:
"Flacka. He’s a hired assassin. That’s the person they want you to trust. He (Keith Jones) had multiple interviews. Only one was recorded."
Brian Steel: "Mr. Banks says “Don't book no flights under no names involved with me.” They booked anyway. That’s a sandwich.
That text was meant for a wedding on the 20th".
Steel told the jury that Hester, Grant and Jones had a lot other gain from their testimony, but said the testimony was only valuable to the investigators if it mentioned Durk.
"Durk Banks is not guilty," Steel said to the jury.
"If you have one reason to doubt that Durk is involved ... the verdict is not guilty."
Steel told the jury that his client was the FBI's target: "They put a target on a human being. A celebrity human being. That's why you're here."
Drew Findling's closing arguments:
While Brian Steel’s argument focused on discrediting Kacey Hester (OTF Jam), Findling focused on who he called the “mastermind” — Kavon Grant (Also known as Cuz or Vonni)
The Government’s entire case, according to Findling, was resting on “the belief that Vonni is telling the truth.”
Findling played the voice recording of Vonni saying he would have the judge believing he “had no choice” because he was Durk’s assistant.
“It’s time for you to say, ‘He will not manipulate us,’” Findling asked of the jury, saying that Vonni “manipulated” the investigators and the prosecution.

Findling began his closing by telling the jury, “there is no expiration date on grief.”
He compared the grief Durk was facing following the murder of King Von as the “a toddler run over by a drunk driver.”
He argued that if a mother facing this grief were to say, “I hope that person dies,” it would not be looked at the same way the prosecution is framing Durk’s grief.
“We took a microscope to his pain, to his grief — and yes — to his anger,” Findling said of Durk.
Findling played questioning from an LAPD investigator told Kieth Jones: “I’m not talking about a normal person. I’m talking about a gangster with a lot of money.”
Findling said this showed the LAPD’s bias. He called investigator “twisted agents with a horrible thought process” who “twisted” Durk’s words.
“You have to have greater expectations for law enforcement,” he told the jury.

Damn
Crazy framing when you know the s*** Von was getting up to
The defense said Durk was a person who stood by those he grew up with in Chicago, and said this should be commended rather than condemned.
“He is a lyricist. He is blessed from above,” Findling said. “He’s the Voice.
The Voice that has the ability to express what other people think.
“It is an honor to be the Voice for the Voice. Truly,” Findling said, ending Durk’s closing arguments.”
Brian Steel's closing arguments:
Brian Steel: “Let’s talk about Hester, Jones, and Grant. They are snitches, corroborators, and rats.
They put a target on a human being. A target on a celebrity human being
Mr. Hester (Jam) is a serial killer. He plead guilty to three murders.
bro started playing Snitches & Rats Interlude lol
Yanniello said the story of Robinson's death "does not happen" without Durk.
"His beef, his money, his hot car, and it was his Los Angeles murder," Yanniello said.
"So why did they agree to commit the murder?" Yanniello asked. "You heard why. Money," he told the jury.
The prosecution pointed to the following texts from Durk's phone as evidence throughout their argument:
"Don't book no flights involved wit me"
"Jam just ready to snitch blood clear as day"
"The guys so behind and wonder why everybody else be up and looking good ... I'm not putting a dollar up till mfrs show me its a team thang"
Like what are we talking about lol
