  • I see so many people complaining about upcoming rappers who are posted on blogs. I feel people want a rapper who is unique.Yes rappers are blowing up still but people still are looking for that diamond in the rough rapper. Meaning a style not yet found yet. Like someone who is bringing something fresh. Remember when Drill rap blew up. It was new and a fresh new sound.

I have a feeling that’s a thing of the past. Maybe someone will come out with a completely unique sound but I don’t see this generation doing it. It’s gonna be someone in the 30+ crowd.

    2013

    We need another 2013.

The year that rap reinvented himself in a good way.

    2017 was close to it.
But the good ones already die.
Rip to xxxtentacion, lil peep and juice wrld

IDK I don't feel he is unique though. Similar to PlayBoiCarti. I didn't sense any sort of uniqueness when I heard him for the 1st time. Only time I felt that was maybe with Young Thug even though he reminded a little bit of Lil Wayne because of the Barter reference. When he came out you like wtf is this because it was something new. Took a while to get use too but after a couple years you like dame this one is something.

How is it crazy talk. Just saying the honest truth.

  • There’s plenty of rappers out there to fill that void

Agree with you 💯. Kids stanning total and utter mid these days because everything dropping is a worse derivative of what’s been popping. A fresh sound will come.
