Yeah, I'm not sure when it officially started, but it was probably around 2018 or so. Can't remember any songs off Ye that sound like they were recorded on the iPhone, but KSG sounds like it. It especially sounds like it on Reborn. There tends to be more distortion in his voice when its an iPhone recording.
