I did yesterday and the graphics still were better than rdr2 so....

RDR 2 looks better. Red dead was a straight up graphical achievement that even the next gen of games will not match for a few years

Love this game but the graphics are pretty cheap lol, then again graphics have never broken the experience for me in any game before

Never tried Fallout what always stops me from playing it is not even the graphics but the whole game just looks clunky af

All Bethesda games clunky as s*** now that I think about it

it served its purpose, albeit very sloppy

It's a trash game but damn i still remember being stunned at how incredible that cutscene with the scientist and spartans n s*** looked

Also, how quickly we forget these godly visuals:

i remember playing mw for the first time at a friends house and seeing the camera follow the grenade in killcam all through the air and grass and s*** blew my mind

in 20 years rdr 2 is gonna look like og counter strike

In the past 10 years, graphics aging badly seems to be getting more and more exclusive to games that try to recreate reality — like making their characters look like real people, and objects look like what we see in real life. (Like the FF7 Remake.)

But recently, games that go for something more stylized seem to stand the test of time longer. Super Mario Galaxy still looks really good for a 13 year old game. Mirror's Edge Is a game that used reality-based models, but the lighting and architecture is so stylized that it still looks pretty damn good. Or an even older game: Shadow of the Colossus still looks shockingly good. I can see newer games Breath of the Wild, or even Dragon Quest XI to a degree, holding up in the same way years from now.
