bro i'm pissed. the RCA cables on my amp/dac got unplugged right as i started, and there's a "bug" (?) with the pc version of ffxiv where if you swap audio devices, you gotta restart your game. so my ass went through the entire raid with no audio

Finished the dark knight job quests. Between this storyline and Shadowbringers, Ishikawa has a real flair for making the Warrior of Light feel like more of their own character rather than a player-controlled avatar.

I’m curious to see how this aspect of her writing will surface in Endwalker.

Gonna try out Red Mage & Machinist.

I mainly tank on Gunblade. Dark Knight #2, Paladin #3. My only dps class was Samurai. All of them are at 60 atm.

Wanted to see how ranged classes felt in the game. Red Mage might end up being my favorite class outside of GNB

Plan on trying out Sage once I reach Endwalker.

I wanna be able to main at least 1 class in every role.

Tank = Gunblade
Dps Mage = Red Mage
Dps Melee = Samurai, Reaper
Dps Range = Machinist
Healer = Sage

I tried to play machinist but the amount of buttons that you have to press constantly is ridiculous

Started DNC recently and the way it plays is actually smooth asf

Finished ARR the whole sequence leading up to the ultima weapon was so nice couldn't help but feel that the fights felt a bit easy due to it being 8 ppl on one. Atleast more so for the admirals like Nero, etc. It's like 1 human enemy having to fend off 8 But I imagine it'll get harder with more progress .

My Arch/Bard is 53 and that ironworks bow is so hard gonna transition it into Machinist when I unlock it

Seriously idk why no one told me this game can be played as a single player.
I would have started five years ago when i got my job man.

This game is everything i need right now. I am still at ARR 2 at 80 hours playtime and the story gets better and better. The story party fights and the dungeons are so much fun with randoms even when i die i just laugh.

Also being a ff fan seeing all the call backs to earlier games is heaven to me. So much fan service man. I can't wait for the other expansions.

My goal right now is to make my character look like Yoruichi from Bleach. I think i might need the 2b stuff and thats all the way to Shadowbringers. Get my Monk, Ninja and Samurai fully lvled. Also get a healer and tank class maybe by endwalker there might be new interesting classes who match the character who knows.

Long way ahead of me but is a beautiful journey.
