Im glad hes gone, not that I dislike him but all these fake deaths are getting tiring, I really need them to stop that after EW

It’s telling that they had to come out and explicitly say “No, Zenos isn’t coming back. He literally died onscreen.” Fans can hardly trust character deaths at this point.

Nah fr he was one of my favorites since Stormblood. I’ll miss him too. I hope we get some flashbacks and a better explanation of what was going on with him before the final days, at least. It’d be great if they could dedicate a patch or two to that stuff. Some solo duties and whatnot

yeah, it def makes sense that he's dead and gone now. i just wish we got more of him, instead of just him sprinkled into the EW story. i don't think he's an amazingly written character by any means, but he's one of my favorite ff villains because he's just raw as hell

With EW ending the way it did they’re free to break structure and do something new. Here’s hoping

Zenos was kinda like a filter for non-JRPG/Anime fans when you think about it. As soon as I saw him slaughter s\*\*\* and heard his motivation I was like “this nigga raw as hell this is what FF is all about.” He stands out next to other XIV villains and had some of the best written lines in the game too. RIP my man Zenos

the fight was cool, but really wish it wasn't relegated to just being a dungeon boss. can't win em all, i suppose.

I really thought they were going to bring him back because of how Yoshida awkwardly dodged the question during the last liveletter. I'm glad it's permanent though.
