started doing ultimate raids recently and this s*** really aint a joke

you just finding ppl with party finder?

think part of the reason why i don't play more is because of the lack of friends playing/having to primarily play with randoms. which i guess isn't a huge issue since dungeons/raids require so many players, but idk if i could just solely do endgame content by myself.

Ultimates isn’t something you can do with party finder with how difficult it is (most difficult content in the game) and how long it takes too clear (can take over a hundred and fifty hours), for this you need to find a group and hope that everyone is as dedicated to clear the fight as you are and that they dont leave midway.

Every other high end content/raid is safe to do with party finder (Extreme fights and then Savage), you just have to make sure that you watch a guide beforehand so that you know what you are doing. Most people I met in the game I met through Savage party finder tbh.

Gotta say tho that Savage fights is the place where toxic people tend to gather in this game.

i can def see ppl getting more toxic in there. as you distance yourself away from the more casual fanbase who only do ERP or some s***, and more towards the toxic "serious" players

Yeah, even then though I think people are surprisingly chill for how hard the savage content is. 7/10 if people start getting frustrated with the group they will just leave and join another one without saying a word, 3/10 some nigga wants to be extra and start some s*** tho, pretty hilarious seeing the drama cause you rarely see it in game tbh

i think in the 450 hours i have in the game, i've only seen a couple times where people try and start s*** and it's always pretty hilarious tbh. 9/10 times i join a dungeon or a raid, i just see "o/" or some s*** pop up in the chat, so generally everyone is overly nice

might have to actually play the endgame now. wasn't really too sure what to do besides raid and chase glamour items

I'm replaying the main scenario on new game plus and just started the Coerthas Central Highlands storyline, which is such an obvious highlight of A Realm Reborn. I recently found out that it was written by Natsuko Ishikawa (co-writer for Stormblood and lead writer for Shadowbringers), whose keen sense for storytelling was on display even back during 2.0.
