That's just s*** that happens when you become a dictator/leader though. Doesn't help that he had the wrong people in his ear when he was in power either.

You really can’t trust any stats coming from Cuba. A lot of the difference in the IMR comes from them falsely classifying neonatal deaths as late fetal deaths. They have massive discrepancies in the ratio of neonatal vs. late fetal deaths compared to the rest of the world. They also pressure women into abortions if there are fetal abnormalities that could lead to a higher risk pregnancy.
