Is FF15 good ? People hated on it when it launched but some people are saying that it isn’t that bad

it's good, I'd personally consider it almost great but it's very understandable how people don't like it. it was a huge switch to the FF formula gameplay wise and at times it falls flat but it can still be really enjoyable

Currently playing FF7 remake . Was never a big fan of FF games when I was younger, but im really hype for this. Im a big fan of medieval worlds

Bringing this back as we can now say it was FF16 concept art

"Following Final Fantasy XIV, we have launched a new core project and have begun the challenge for the next generation. This project has already completed its initial development, has completed environment development and is now moving into a full-scale large-scale development phase."

    this s*** gon be hard

i wonder how much of the castle we'll be able to explore maybe we'll get that hallway fights from one of the very early trailers of FF15/FFVersus13

I actually trust this team to deliver to s*** like this

I hope the castle in the pic ends up being real, really reminds me of FF4

I'm glad it's not super graphical. No need sometimes, helps get the game out quicker.

As long as the story is great I'll take it however.
    I'm hoping for a late 2021 release.

Fact Yoshi P had this much of a detailed trailer with dual voice acting says it's close

It’s much better now with all the DLC. If I played it at launch I’d probably be a hater but I played it with all the DLC that released prior to the Royal pack and I enjoyed it a lot.

It’s definitely not perfect though, they leave weird gaps in the story and then sprint towards the ending but maybe the last DLC pack helped flesh that out

XV is extremely overhated. Many people dismiss it because of how it was on release (which to be honest, wasn’t very good lol). The story doesn’t make up for the decade long wait this game had, and the combat is a huge departure from the series norm, so many FF fans were torn about that too. From delay after delay, to gameplay trailers that didn’t make it in the game at all, there’s a lot of reasons why people hate XV.

The updates and DLC content really do make this game though, as each update fixed problems and annoyances people had. It also provided new ways to experience the game, like the ability to play as all 4 main characters in combat instead of just Noctis. Story content was added, gameplay tweaks and elements. The DLC content give this game the love and polish it should have got on release, but by the time it came out, people stopped caring sadly.

The best way to truly enjoy XV is the Royal Edition. It has all the DLC and is on sale on the PlayStation store right now lol.

from what i understand, the book that dropped last year kinda goes over everything that would've (?) happened if development continued/went well. would've actually been insane to see all in the book happen in game.

shame everything went the way it did, but it is what it is.

Downloaded from the gamepass on my one fat since I just sold my ps4 and damn the game looks horrible. Played for a few hours, gameplay is great except for cars sequences and I quite like the art direction, very unique game. I like it so far

  • setting gives me game of thrones vibe

hope they make a good open world and im fine,

Really like Yoshi P for this. Much preferred actually showing the game than CG.

Really believe they'll make a great FF
