the movie was like a spinoff based on the main character, its one of those things u watch after u finish the game because you liked the game a lot

Haven't even had a chance to play genshin yet but it looks pretty fun from what I seen on streams.
Also think FF14 is okay if you don't play with any friends, it has quite a heavy focus on story for an MMO so it can work really well as a single player experience tbh. Most people I met in the game are often quite cool too, won't really meet any toxic people until you start raiding at the end game (although thats like 400 hours away )

That being said, it can be a really overwhelming game to get into with it being an MMO, the first part of the game can be a drag to get through too, it has a few highlights but most people really start loving this game at Heavensward

i think the story focus is lowkey what interested me at first too. it has a trial and honestly i havent even played that but i feel like if i do end up playing it im gonna like it a lot and its like $15 a month. i dont necessarily have an issue with the price if its a good game but i feel like its gonna force me to play a lot during that time because i wanna get my moneys worth
and genshin is fun and pretty. its the botw aesthetic, xenoblade 2 gacha, and nier automata fighting which is like my dream combo lol but its just not too focused on multiplayer. it has a story focus too, wish i could play it on pc at 140fps but it is what it is
