That’s such an insane assessment given that the cutscenes are among the praised aspects of the game

I know lol they seem like they don't like cinematic games which is fair but may not be the person to have review it

The cutscenes in the demo were hard af though if the rest of the story is on the same level I can't imagine getting bored

Generally reviews have more been like "I have seen this story or something similar before " more than just bad story telling . Just tropes or something. Hats off to Final Fantasy fans today

Can’t imagine the treatment of women in this game being as bad as something like Persona 5 though.
Not to mention the OG release’s blatant homophobia.

It wasn't downright awful, but it's not great. It's just extremely fine.
Really just need everything to drop on PC day 1 so I don't gotta deal with these weak ass consoles

I feel like most of the criticism leveled at the story seem plot related, whereabouts the characterization seems pretty universally praised.
Always got the sense that this game was focused more on that, especially Clive.

Its expected when you up the scope more and more lol . this s*** going to push PS5s and some people are dealing with crashes
