Not far into the game i dont think but iv only felt bored during the dame quest

I feel it's more like just the scenes were they stand there talking and nothing else is happening

yeah I don't know why they didn't do slow walking and they talk to you or something . I get its classic rpg feel of standing staring at them but often looks awkward

No like genuinely some of these cutscenes are baffling. I don't know how far you are and don't want to spoil but some of these are not worth being a cutscene at all more than a normal jrpg level
