I’m pretty new to Final Fantasy, what do the fans prefer

as far as i know, 13 was criticized for being one long hallway but 10 was kinda like that too and people love 10. 15 was dogged by some for being vast for no reason. 7Remake was a bit of a middle ground that i think works.

this question is will there be an airship?

i think FF criticisms are very dated to the times they released lol. like they only said that about 13 cuz that was the era when open world games had just become the standard, every game was expected to have one, but when they got a real one for 15 people called it empty cuz it couldn’t compete with the open worlds of its time

that’s why I don’t trust critics/ratings of the FF games, i just play em and see which ones i like. so far i haven’t disliked any of em

It is really hard to get excited for a new FF game, lol. Square Enix trying to lift me for another $60 for an abysmal game sold on name alone.

I really hope I am wrong

Bro what Final fantasy games are always quality and deserve their 60$ price tag Even if a lot of them haven't been 10/10 experiences lately it's still obvious they put a lot of work into those games

Like I guess I am just in the minority, but X, X-2, and 13 are so shockingly bad. I really must be disconnected in what people like.

What was fun about 13???? The story was so f***ing stupid with zero continuity. Also, it was so linear. Like you just had to do what the game said... if you like that sure, haha

i can understand complaints about 13 and 15, but saying 10 is a "shockingly bad" game is insane to me

this coming from someone who actually enjoys 13 & 15 for some reason too
