They are mostly basic quests but a lot of them add to the story/world in a good way, or give you stuff that helps you like your chocobo. Some of them really paint the picture about what’s going on in the world. It’s dark in valisthea.

I have no issues with the sides quests They ain't Trails-level, but I definitely don't mind doing em, especially because you get to know a bit more about the world or minor NPCs around the hideout. The ones that come from the missives are particularly good. The Otto and Cid one was really good.
