Why has this game become so popular to s*** on lol. Its a 9/10 if u remove 30 minutes of middle of the story quest. People r stupid

The games biggest issues for me are the MSQ structure which has you going through the most amazing jaw dropping story beats with beautiful graphics, fun combat and storytelling then forcing you to till soil or some menial s*** for the next 45 minutes, and the lack of non-combat side content,

So far the game is like a 9 and I’m really happy with it. I think by all means this game is a win and so far is the only game I’ve played that’s justified having a PS5 at all

But also Why the f\*\*\* wasn’t Jill a part of that fight and why aren’t they doing more with her? She’s great and has lots of screen time but it feels like she’s always reacting to something instead of being proactive. I get that Clive’s the MC but they really could have given some of his lines of dialogue to Jill when they’re in a scene together just to make it more dynamic and give her a bit more input. AND WHY DIDNT SHE GET TO HUG JOSHUA? SHE JUST STOOD THERE HAPPY FOR CLIVE LIKE THEY DIDNT ALL GROW UP TOGETHER

In fact while I’m on the topic of female characters in general

Playing this definitely calls attention to the gap in writing quality for FFXIV’s female characters before like, Stormblood’s patch quests vs everything during and after that

No one allude to anything that happens after where I’m at please but I have to know I’m not the only one who feels this way

I like the side quest that change the world. I think more of the side quest should lead to a change the world type moment. They would have been Godly if they lead to different additional party members

I haven't played xiv but women characters in this game definitely deserve more. Some get slightly more developed in side quest content but they deserved more. Also they should talk and interact with Clive more during side quest or getting to side quest
