GAME DID NOT NEED TO BE 60 HOURS

i feel you heavy on some parts. i was one of the most excited members itt and i even got the game early but i still haven’t finished it. it just feels like such a drag at times. the highs in this game are so incredibly and undeniably high that it makes the “mid“ parts that come afterwards feel even worse than mid. the pacing is truly horrendous and i feel like a lot of people itt still have their heart glasses on while some others are ready to criticize faults of the game (which it definitely has a fair share of).

Feels like an FF game to me

Finally completed the game, those last few hours of storytelling was absolutely stunning.

Clive could honestly be my second favourite main with Cloud still being top for obvious reasons. Voiced perfectly. Entire cast were so good, none of that cringe s***. Gav the geordie really shinning.

They should continue to use Eikons like this in future games. Bahamut battle seriously is god tier in terms of awe.

Map was massive, and I hope FF7R2 copies it!

And the end was sweet, and fairly annoying at the same time. But I did cry like a b****.

My major gripes:
-Last Boss in some stages reminded me of a certain other godly boss, and it felt cheap.

• 50% in the game stupidly forces you into tedious “main story side quests” which really destroyed the flow. Made me so f***ing angry.
• Barnabus, quite easily the hardest boss in the game.
• Why wasn’t there Poison/Stunned
• Eikons needed more abilities
• Massive cutscenes to end, and have me talk to the same person straight after it finished.
