Leviathan is either cut content or a major spoiler. Promotional material has put forward a general idea of who every other dominant is besides Dion, and even then his name, design, and background have been revealed.

I honestly would have been fine if they didn't show anything past the Awakening trailer. The team's vision for the game was clear to me back when it was revealed and everything since has just further solidified it.

The English recording is weirdly going to be the more "authentic" version of the game. Maehiro wrote the story in Japanese but the actual script was written in English first in collaboration with Koji Fox (lead localiser) before being translated in to Japanese. The game was also recorded in English first with the Japanese dub having to match it.

Unit III work with an S-tier cast of English voice actors as well and Ben Starr (Clive) is really passionate about his role and Final Fantasy in general.

You don’t think the FF brand is carrying the majority of the sales?

I feel like ever since FF has gone real time/action it isn’t like the combat is something that is universally praised. I never see FF mentioned alongside action giants like many of the platinum games or even DMC

My main issue with real time combat in FF is that everything feels so weightless and the flashiness of the combat is incongruent with the damage/results. Like you can do some spectacular looking stuff at times and you barely chipped off 1/10th of a health bar.

I’ll always prefer turn based but I wouldn’t mind FF staying action based if they just did it better. Praying this game delivers something special

XV plays itself but VII Remake has an excellent combat system that was very well received (especially the hard mode), and which has already been improved upon in Episode Intermission. VII Remake's system is the perfect model for party-based action combat and I expect that it's the direction Unit I will continue to follow after wrapping up the trilogy.

I know Leviathan is on the mural. I'm saying that revealing the fate or identity of Leviathan might be a major spoiler and may explain why they haven't been shown in any of the promotional material (assuming Leviathan hasn't been cut from the game).
