It’s in performance mode but it’s three times the game so not really that surprising. And it’s not always noticeable and will get touched up a little maybe. It’s nowhere close to awful, that’s hater talk you must’ve heard.

I feel like this is the one that’s really gonna spin off narratively from the OG, so I’m super curious to see how fans react.

I can imagine this one, despite being a better game in every way, still ends up fairly polarizing because of plot divergences.

Don’t think it’ll impact critical reception though.

They'll say it's 490 hours but without things like the multiple vacuuming sections or where you're turning a wheel to shut off pumps but you have to do it 6 times...the game would be 27 hours long.

I'm not saying that's the case here because the trailer shows a lot of great stuff, but a lot of games do it and it's annoying.

These are alt. universe (meta)sequels to the first game.

Think of it this way. OG 7 timeline is AA.

Remake starts as AA, but ends up AB.

Rebirth starts at AB, probably ends up as BB.

And the sequel is likely to start at BB and attempt to make its way back to AA, or at least AB.
