Man I don’t mind the mini games In this ( actually dig queensblood and all the ones at gold saucer) but that gears and gambit one is absolutely unbearable

This is THE only way to play this game

This is kinda dumb imo (emphasis on imo). The side stories are really relevant to when they're taking place and add a lot to characters in the moment of the story.
Obviously enjoy the game however you want though
Finally got a friend to consider playing this as his first FF and I got a question I need honest opinions for. Is the story line for these two games nonsense if you haven’t played the original? I haven’t played the second yet so idk how much it veers from the OG but does it manage to explain and flesh it all out in a way that isn’t confusing?

First one is straight forward tbh until the ending then it becomes nonsense
Second one..uhhhh no story to be seen until final 4 hours where it’s a mix of nonsense and story
But it’s a great game
Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 director says the JRPG sequel will be "one of the most loved, most popular games in the whole history of video games"
Ok ok these niggas confident as hell. I like hearing that too from a dev. Shows they understand how big the task is and are confident in their vision.

I was afraid because of Square’s financial woes but now I know I don’t have to worry lol question is will this come out in the PS5 lifespan. I don’t feel like buying a ps6 right away.
That stream kind of confirms a pretty important aspect of the ending that Cloud has a deep struggle when it comes to letting people go, so those Aerith apparitions might actually just be hallucinations on his part.
Beautiful game tbh.
P5 and this are hands down the two best JRPGs of the last decade.

I mean, considering how quickly they developed Rebirth, it’s absolutely possible we get this in 2027.
Remember, Rebirth development was marred by COVID too by a year and a half.

Cloud acting as if everything is OK with Aerith and the party inevitably realizing that this dude is deteriorating mentally and believes that Aerith is fine will be generational to see play out. Especially with how it ties into the events of the original game. I'm happy that they are using the Remake series to place an even bigger focus on Cloud's mental collapse.

They were confident everyone would love the ending of this and many didn't.
Although I was okay with it and overall loved the game. I just don't want them to kingdom hearts this s*** at the end

Too late for that tbh the way they handled Aeriths death was so f***ing stupid

It was tbh. But It's obvious what they're going for because of this ending.
Feel like I’ve been playing this game for forever… at chapter 11 or 12 so close to the end but not quite
