Skill issue tbh
I mean, the only real way to kill Sephiroth during his final attack is to have a limit tucked away and ready to use, I wouldn't expect everyone to know that going in

I didn't even need to know this to beat him tbh I dont even know if what you just said is true

How did you survive that double energy beam s***? Did you just go in over leveled? What difficulty?

You talking his final final attack? You can just run in the direction he moves with the attack and weave strikes in between
Dynamic I was like level 42 iirc

Yea but if you don't kill him before he's finished with that attack he'll hit you with an Octaslash, its very hard to survive both attacks consecutively, especially since its difficult to build bar during the energy beam attack to heal while still doing damage. Me personally I just hit him with an Ascension and gg

Are you talking about octaslash? If you hit him enough and attack his sword, his attack is weakened and does a quarter of the damage. A prompt comes up and says it right before he activates it. Like super weakened.
I beat him on my second try I’m pretty sure. He was easier of the three.

no I'm talking about his final attack

I’m pretty sure Octaslash is his final attack. And it can get weakened.

Once you get to the end of the fight he'll do a move called Tempus Finis, then if you don't kill him during that he'll do an Octaslash which can't be weakened, iirc.

I had Octaslash happen then Octaslash prime. The other attack he was spamming through out the fight (tempus finis). When he’s doing Octaslash, you need to stagger him there then it says his power is diminished. He was weaker after that for me.

This specifically is what I had trouble with. The battle is basically scripted so you kill Sephiroth before that Octaslash prime or he kills you. This is after the final time you stagger him

never even got to see this and i'm pretty sure I didn't need LB to beat him at the end. Prob just a matter of having consistent DPS output throughout the fight.

I may be mistaken but i’m pretty sure the game forces you to fight all phases? Or am I buggin.

im talkin about the last attack. I never got to see that move that dealt 9999 damage

Yea you’ve gotta have a limit, synergy, or summon ready to go at the end
Damn I’m missing this game. Trying to play Dragons Dogma but it isn’t hitting for me like that.

Yea that’s what I’m saying you gotta kill him before it gets to that move
chapter 5 complete tonight. I legit think this may be one of my favorite games ever. it is so charming on so many levels lol
Hate this type of map system with fog you have to uncover while exploring
Makes my autism flare up and I have to make sure everything is cleared
Shut your mouth
You had time to reconsider the ending or are you hard stop disliking it? Lol have you heard the theory that Aerith is Jenova at the end? Jenova becomes the ones you hate and those you love. The Cetra said that Jenova is a shapeshifter that turns into people’s dead loved ones to cause chaos. Part 3 might be insane.
I just want advent children and dirge of Cerberus to be in part 3. But both to be reworked and enhanced.

Those two stories take place way in the future though
