The Remake is a whole different game, don’t think of it as a different version to the PS1 original

I saw the combat is different. More fast paced and not turn based
Alright deciding to do the Gold Saucer chapter at irl night time was a great decision. Thought the Spider-Man 2 Coney Island part was good but this dwarfs that
Taking my sweet time with this.

So much detail there
Fam, how are y’all beating Odin?
I used Cloud, Tifa, and Aerith. Aerith Radiant Ward, healing materia auto cast on, and then just switched between all three characters spamming ATB attacks.
Focus on that and dodging his attacks to avoid him using his strong attacks. He won't use it if you are doing this properly.
precision dodge, steadfast block, revive earrings and phoenix can also help here

If you're interested in the OG I recommend the switch version, but the PC or last gen console versions are fine too. If you want to just start with Remake that is fine too, you will miss some of the little nods to the original but plenty of people do it and enjoy it just fine.

Remake is a sequel to the OG so it doesn’t invalidate it. You need to know the compilation to understand what happens in the story with this one. And the reason this is three parts is because everything is fleshed out.
I can confidently say that Rebirth is GOTY 2024. I was so worried that they would f*** up the game after the changes that were made to the story in Remake. Square completely shut me right up. This game is a masterpiece in literally everything. Combat, music, world building, storytelling. The graphics are f***ing phenomenal too although there are definitely some spots here and there where it looks PS3 tier. The ONLY two downsides for me personally are the new Punisher Mode combo and sometimes the minigame padding can be too much. Everything else tho? Game is chefs kiss.
Almost makes me wanna go back and replay the OG but idk if it’s aged well or not.
9.8/10
This is the best FF game oat I have declared it
Not until the third game comes out. All 3 are still technically the same game
I think I loved everything about this game but the ending was too Kingdom hearts.

I’m looking at them as standalone games tbh. Rebirth is far better than remake

Yea it’s not really even close
This game hands down has the most eye searing moments of any game I’ve ever played.
The moment you go from an interior to an exterior it’s goddamn BLINDING.
Color Canyon part of the story or whatever
AIn't red say he was a Gojo experiment? He was an actual dog with dog parents the whole time?

Think you mean Cosmo Canyon Lol
And Nanaki was always a dog, Hojo’s ultimate goal was trying to have him and Aerith breed together. He’s gross.
Back playing
In middle of chapter 7
I’m going through this so slow not gonna be done until may probably
