Holy s*** bro. I had to basically redo all of Wall Market cause when I got to a certain fight I hit “restart from checkpoint” so I could adjust my stats and materia. S*** TOOK ME TO THE BEGINNING OF THE CHAPTER

I made sure to manual save almost after every cutscene after that

Hard mode makes me wanna rip my hair out

That Hell House boss fight was dumb, dragged s***

I did that too! It’s really misleading because you assume clicking ‘restart battle’ or whatever it says would just make you do the fight again and ‘restart checkpoint’ would send you to right before the fight but instead you end up at least 30 mins back.

Had to redo the whole saving the kids from the robots part with Aerith because of that s***

Og was the first game I ever beat

This s*** is good af you’re trippin lol

this game and lightning returns have the best battle systems in the series imo

whats does this game great besides graphics ?

-the brainless hack and slay FFXV fighting mecahnic
-the dumped down materia system(which was one of the best things in the og game)
-having summons only in certain part of the game
-The OG story that is stretched like a chewing gum with endless fillers that isnt even important for the main story to make it a full price game
-the stupid changes in the story that kinda ruins the legacy of ff7
-fetch quest submissions

this games wild they got toddlers fighting in a weapon shop with adults cheering them on and little kids barkeeping making cocktails

Dog you could basically one shot ff7 once you got enemy skill and quadra the combat wasn’t superior imo at all.

It was superior because what you said is only one of the many ways you could go about combat like the materia system and the many items make for endless replayability, you got people beating the hardest superboss with only Cloud at lvl 1, the game allows for completely exclusive things like that

Ni No Kuni's fighting syqtem is kinda trash tbh a shame because rest of the game is great

I'm shocked I've never seen a single complaint about how long it takes for a conversation to start in this game.

Everytime you hit a button it takes 9 seconds while the character stare at each other before something happens and anyone starts talking.

That's really my only major complaint because that s*** I'd wayyy unnecessary

Yea ff7 is a great game i gotta say that I don’t believe the turn based style works necessarily better than the way they do atb here. Plus random encounters some trash.

S*** is f***in irritating, I thought some s*** was bugged in the beginning of the game trying to talk to shopkeepers

I gotta admit random encounters are pretty irritating, but FF7 isn't the worst offender, ive been playing FF4 and it litteraly has battles for every step you make sometimes

How’s the remake I just barely found out we have to wait for part 2 and kinda disappoints me but I was a huge fan as a kid

they go wild with the R-word bombs tbh

its nice seeing more people play the real game
