In regards to story with Aerith and Sephorith I think we are getting back To the future ff7 if you know what I mean. Too many hints. Lot of em went over my head first play through but there’s a lot of layers there

Finally started really playing the game and Goddamn bruh this game is f***ing incredible. Flawless honestly.

The ending was fine guys, lol. I mean I saw one guy earlier in this thread have doubts that there would even be future installments due to this “craaaazy ending”. Wtf you guys...

Folks were having conniptions cuz they watched the cutscenes without playing the game like gameplay ain’t storytelling. I understand qualms with the end, hell I got questions but folks were crying wolf in here.

Yeah people overblew that way too hard.

And no wonder it was the people that didn’t even play the game. I wish I remembered exactly who they were so I could make fun of them now.

I’m seeing that Crisis Core is the prequel to FF7. Will I spoil myself too much of FF7 if I know abt the prequel?

Bout 10 or so hours in on this and this is about as flawless as a game can get honestly. Only issue has been some low res texture issues at certain points which I assume will be patched.

But Goddamn this game is amazing from top to bottom and I feel bad for anybody skipping out simply because of bitterness/nostalgia that it didn’t stick to the original, or because of the episodic releases. I originally felt the same as far as the episodic s***, but end of the day, this is a full fledged 50 or so hour game and a lot was added and nobody would complain about that in any other situation.

My only problem is I never fully played the original, so I definitely won’t have the patience to wait for the next 2 parts of the remake to see the full story, and this will most likely force me to finally play the original in full. It originally came out when I was 2, and I finally took interest around 2005 when I was 9, due to the characters being in Kingdom Hearts 2. But even at that point it was already an 8 year old game and was graphically very dated and hard to play. Plus I went into it wanting that Kingdom Hearts style combat, or even the combat system that the FF7 Remake did. But being older now and knowing exactly what to expect I think I’ll be able to play thru this time around.

Also, recently got the SteelSeries Arctis Pro (Hi-def audiophile quality headset) and got DAMN is this game the perfect first game to test it out on. The soundtrack and overall audio on this game in general is f***ing incredible. So cinematic and the surround sound is ridiculous. Adds so much and I don’t even WANT to play on the TV audio.

They have to at the very least finish disc 1 in the next game. If it takes 3-4 years to make a legit rest of disc 1 game then so be it. But don't chop it up into some disc 1 three parter, that's absolutely ridiculous. And Square can go f*** themselves if they even entertain the thought of some bullshit like a 9 part series with 3 parts to a disc at 60 a pop.

And they're currently in the planning phase for the next one?
