Mmos are fine, but the problem is the huge amount of content. It’s like starting One Piece in 2021
really good comparison
just tried getting back into OP last week
15 was goat but they don’t want you to think that, they can’t stop me though.
Real for XV love

I feel you, if i had to start watching OP now i’d probably drop it too. It is amazing though, 100% worth watching. The manga is a very good alternative and reading that instead would be quicker, you miss out on the amazing music and atmosphere though. Something about the early one piece anime is so charming.
Playing Remake without playing OG is like watching the Eva movies without having seen the show
Once I seen the level of detail and care and straight awesomeness they put into this s*** I see why they didn't put in more than they did
Nah there’s some unnecessary filler like giving a Don Corneo henchman a storyline lol but overall I love the remake. I jus wish I could play the second installment when it comes out but getting a ps5 impossible damn near.
it took me so long to actually play it because i couldn't get past the mental hurdle of me thinking it was too dated. i actually just finished it for the first time back in december, so like 8 months after ff7r.
i wanna say i preferred OG 7 more than the remake, though think that's solely because OG 7 has more variety and you aren't kept in midgar the entire time. not really gonna blame the remake for not providing that experience though. like i said though, finishing OG 7 made me appreciate the remake a good bit more. really cool to see how they fleshed out a 4-5 hour part of the game into a really well done 35 hour game. game probably went from an 8/10 to 9/10 for me just because i played the original
though honestly, think my rating of the remake is a bit unfair after riding the high of playing it immediately after finishing persona 5 royal. genuinely nothing can beat that game for me
Never played a persons game. Is that a good start for me to get in? I love jojo and know the series takes inspo from it.

Persona games are some of the best games oat, especially 3-5. I started with 3, but any of them should be fine. I do recommend starting with 3, because 5 is so f***ing good it’s going to be hard to go back to the older games and all the qol changes that will be missing. Definitely play these games though and take your time, they shine best if you space them out and don’t no life the games.

Trust them s***s will be out by the time the game drops. That Yuffie DLC is another story though.

It’s so hard to talk about because Remake is a literal sequel to the original and they have no idea

yeah, i'm def reading it. would be cool to watch, but i'd just really want to get caught up. i'll periodically work on it, but it's a mountain to climb

Gonna get to Chapter 18 and have no f\*\*\*ing idea what anything is
I played the OG after the remake. Honestly I was blown away by the amount of stuff that was in the original. Like if they keep expanding the gameplay at the same pace then the remakes are gonna be like 5 games when all is said and done, I hope they don’t do that
I kinda wished I had the played the original first just because I made a lot of incorrect assumptions playing the remake due to being unfamiliar with the story. Like I didn’t realize cloud hallucinating sephiroth from the early stages of the game was an actual plot point of the original, I thought it was remake shenanigans.
I think the remake is designed for people who played the og, for better or worse. It’s kinda important that you can recognize where the story deviates from the original to fully appreciate the story of the remake

I'm playing Persona 5 right now. It's my first one. The games don't seem to be connected but I'm more likely to go to 6 after 5 rather than go back

Didn't know the PS5 version comes with a new steelbook that's different from the PS4 Sephiroth steelbook, Wasn't plan on getting the PS5 physical but
I love this game so so much lol.
I'm at the part where they got me tryna choose between Tifa and Aerith 😂😂

With the DLC it’s a top contender.
I just love Tifa so much man.
is this a good start for your first ever ff game ?
I finished this a few weeks ago and it was my first FF game ever. I absolutely loved it, so you should check it out.

Yeah, the royal edition with all the dlcs is fire, it’s a shame cause i believe if this released with that content people would be happy with the game

Aerith is the s*** but she the homie. Could've been the wife but I was already committed before she even showed up. What can ya do!
