Every Single Night is one of the most important songs in the world to me and I'd be shocked if anything on here tops that
settling in for my first listen right now, phew.
catching up on this thread, saw some people talking about Tom Waits. Any recs on where to start with him, I've been meaning to for like half my life but I've always been intimidated by his discog.
You should start with swordfish before rain dogs and then if you want mire clanking it's hard to go wrong with bone machine
I hadn't heard an album by her until this week. The Idler Wheel is only one I really liked, if this album's percussion is as strong I'm HYPED

House Where Nobody Lives
tbh that’s the main one I’d recommend for anyone trying to get into Tom Waits today
Before making his first album Tom Waits recorded more beautiful acoustic songs he never used that are among my favorites
