Fiona Apple is music for the Elizabeth Warren professional liberal whose political moment is yaas queening movie stars who had to touch a p**** in 2003. Normally I’m all for “fuck privileged white women and their thoughts on the world” but this a***ysis applies more towards Lana Del Rey’s newest album
Fionas lyrics are always centered towards her experiences in life and not some sweeping generalization masquerading as truth that a number of white female artists have lately been doing.
