Shyt kinda crayz
Lived w my mom my whole life then moved out with a friend
Now i got my own studio apartment
It's great and i like that i have all this privacy, live closer to my friends and work/school but it does get lonely sometimes
During the day i'm fine, i work on campus and see multiple friends of mine pretty much everyday and my colleagues are great
But when i get home at night it's different, i find myself staying on campus longer just to avoid being completely alone at home
People that live or lived alone how did u get over it? Or was it never a problem for u. Did u just have to go thru an adjustment period or what
Call your mom
I been doing that most days it does help but only temporarily tbh
Call home, stay social, accept the new phase of life you are in and appreciate the journey
S***post on ktt all day and night
Get a gf then you’ll love being alone
Interpreted it differently than u probably meant at first lmao
Make friends
I already have plenty
Moving to this city was partly bc i wanted to be closer to em
But im talking the nights after coming home
i just moved out with my gf 6 months ago but we broke up and i'm living on my own for the first time too. it's freeing but also lonely & scary

say you work an 8 hour shift or you have a long day at school. what do you most look forward to doing afterward when you're alone?
Op gonna learn what lonely is when you sick and got no one near to take care of you like that 😢

I would say after work, see my friends if we made plans or if they're also on campus
But being alone? Idk not much atm tbh, maybe cooking dinner
If i got some weed then i guess that but i don't wanna fall into that trap lol
Idk tbh. I enjoy the solace at home.
I get loneliness but it seems like you have the social aspect covered. It was a bit of the opposite for me when I first got on my own. My friends were moving away so I didn't have much of a choice.
Being able to be alone with yourself is a valuable asset and one you might need to grow into as you get older until you find someone to move in with.
You're young in college so you might only have this problem for 5 years or less before you find someone to settle down with.
I wouldn't worry about it that much. You're prolly only gonna be living alone for a small portion of your life lol
I had a girl coming over last weekend
It was cool she stayed the night
But she got too attached too quick and i got spooked
Get a gf then you’ll love being alone
Why is this so accurate
