Picked up this Junya puffer vest for a steal, y’all got ideas for interesting fits? Maybe as a mid layer with a longer coat?

i think almost every one of your fits would get better with wider pants

If you really wanna get crazy and explore your imagination pair it with s*** you strongly believe wont work and then add and subtract until it does

Play with different moods and settings(shorts vs pants, rubber boot vs loafer)

Also look at how it was styled on the runway if you’re really really stuck

I feel like every 3-4 months I go through a quarter life crisis about how my pants fit. I’m now at my Levi’s 501 505 phase in my life right now. Hopefully they fit okay on me.

I'm there rn, trying to ditch all my slim fit pants towards a more open fit. Enough of this pulling on my leg hairs nonsense

I’m having the same problem and plus I have a muffin top and I never wear my pants at my waist and always at my hips and it makes my legs look short and torso long in some situations

usually black and navy wont work well imo, maybe its better to look for some olive, beige or browns and etc. but you can always try it at very few occasions navy and black work.

I got like one pair of olive cargos lol, you think a not so deep black denim thats pretty washed/faded would work with the shirt? ive read about the whole black/navy thing becoming more acceptable these days too but cant rly find much solid examples (thats for a reason i guess)

Black and navy can for sure work no problem, you just need to be mindful of the shades of black and navy that you're having work together + a good overall sense of color

Truuu thanks for linking the pics, def some nice examples. what i noticed from these pics is having a third or fourth color to break it up helps a lot! Ahhh im on the fence rn if i should cop or not, cause if i do i probably gotta invest in a pair of pants too just to be on the safe side.

the only way to see if it works is to see it irl tbh

I always like to think about how third or fourth colors interact with/support the main or loudest colors in a fit so breaking up the black and navy is a good way to put it

That shirt is a very nice shade of navy so if you like it I'd go ahead and grab it

    You also have

And that green cardigan you just dropped a fit with to act as support items/colors while you figure out how that shirt can best work with your pants and wardrobe as a whole

@GODFLOW this is the post I was talking about

I think about this a lot because that vest that @shiv122 is mad interesting but besides the beanie everything it's paired with in that fit kind of melts it into blandness

That piece that got suggested is one of many cool ways to make the vest pop and support it visually

Where I currently live got hit by a massive blizzard on Saturday and watching out the window of my apartment it would be hard to tell that vest/fit apart from any of the weary, snow trudging wear that people were rocking after the snow stopped but with that long sleeve (once again important to emphasize that it's only one possibility) man that ish would shine
