i'm not clued up about posture correctors. i've heard they're good but not to rely on them all the time to correct your posture. so maybe wear it a few hours a day

Yeah I've been reading up on things and saw that too, watch some videos on how to make your back and the back of head touch the wall at the same time. Harder than it looks.
That tilted waist disk thing is no joke, for overweight people, it really is a matter of your stomach literally pulling the rest of your body forward.

it's not easy at all to align your body the way it should be. takes a lot of hard work and conscious thought throughout a day.
fixing your posture is also a big advantage for your height
I got scoliosis correction surgery. It fixed my curvature by 50%. I gained an inch in height but I guess I still technically have one more inside of me (pause)
I'm 6'7 now

Think my curvature was originally like 60 degrees or something? Unfortunately I don't know the hardcore medical terminology to describe it, might be from T5 to L4. But my scar goes down almost the entire length of my back. I have 24 screws in my spine in between two 24-inch rods
i havent slept with a pillow in like 5-6 years. i believe that helped my posture and it also made my back and shoulder/neck area feel better when waking up
back in HS i used to get up with a constant stiff nick and upper shoulder aching. i would just end up rolling over in a bad sleep position. now i just lay flat on my bed without a pillow - it feels amazing

fixing your posture is a life long journey
hell yeah it's a lifestyle. the modern world is not designed for good posture. 9-5 office working, people always on their phones, playing computer games, etc. gotta counteract that with daily activity

What are some things I should try to pay attention to/focus on when standing to improve my posture?
