CampariTwigs & Arca are reuniting for LP3? No way! I thought the entire issue stemmed around Twigs not wanting Arca’s sound to be her signature but this is exciting nonetheless.
I was beginning to think she may “sell out” & go more of a pop route (which is fine) but this partnership has me curious as to what sort of sound they’re cooking up.
Also, hopefully she continues to work with Jaar cause he absolutely killed on Magdalene.
I don't know if Jaar is on this new album but El Guincho and Arca definitely are. Twigs producing too, as usual.
I think they beefed over credits during LP1 then stopped working together, but they started working together again a while ago. Arca actually produced the first version of 'Holy Terrain' with Twigs before she scrapped it and reworked it with Jack Antonoff and Skrillex.
I still think this album is gonna be her "sell out" record, to some extent. She's working with pop songwriters and stuff. I'm still curious to hear it, though

Twigs did her thing and the production is crisp and clean but as I expected, I wasn't feeling the features. That hook is awful.
There's very few hip-hop artists who I feel would/can mesh well with Twigs simply because her sound is incredibly abstract.

Twigs did her thing and the production is crisp and clean but as I expected, I wasn't feeling the features. That hook is awful.
There's very few hip-hop artists who I feel would/can mesh well with Twigs simply because her sound is incredibly abstract.
I think she meshes will with rappers in general. She's been on good songs with Ye, Future, Rocky, and 645AR.
This song is just bad because the production is basic/cheap and the hook isn't great. Plus the autotune on her vocals feels like a poor choice
