He didn't have a great voice. I don't think his fans try to claim he was an amazing singer, do they? I still enjoy a lot of his music.

His voice wasn't like amazing by traditional standards but it was unique and he was alot of raw energy behind it

It was fine enough for what he did. Definitely isn't one of the best parts of his music imo. Always sounded kinda monotone/sleepy but it worked for the music he made.
