unfortunately it depends on who's in charge. my boss was not on board at first, we all had to band together and refuse to come back. he eventually started developing health issues and wanted to spend more time with his family so he began working from home and then understood. circumstances of course, now we all work remote 100% of the time, but go in the office if we feel like it (cause I'm only 20-30 minutes away but never go in lol)
