How is the OG going to work

Ah, there always seems to be some exploit with new season launches but I've never used them, and they usually get patched pretty quickly.

Mostly the same as it did back in the dizzle but with the new movement/modern features that were introduced in the later chapters (sprinting, sliding, mantling, healing while walking and such),

Basically OG map and weapons but with the later QoL movement/features. The seasons will be shorter.

Chapter 1 season 1 will last until January 31, then it moves on to Chapter 1 season 2.

Will all seasons be featured

The Fortnite OG mode itself is a permanent mode that is here to stay and it is confirmed that the seasons (plural) will be shorter in this mode and that the first season ends on January 31st, so it will most likely feature all the OG chapter 1 seasons at least I'd assume.

To start, Fortnite OG will run through the original initial Seasons of Chapter 1, recreating those early days, right down to loot pool changes and feature introductions. Seasons in Fortnite OG will be shorter than they are in Battle Royale currently, with Season 1 ending on January 31 at 2 AM ET. Solos and Squads will be available right away, as well as Zero Build! And stay tuned — Ranked Fortnite OG is coming soon!

A number of quality-of-life changes that have been added to Fortnite over the years will be present. Building mechanics will be uniform with Battle Royale as it is today, and as far as traversal goes you’ll be able to sprint, slide, mantle, door bash, and move while healing.

Some of the rough edges from that era have been preserved, while others have been polished. For example, you’ll find Reboot Vans and be able to see the glare from a sniper scope, but max building resources are set to 999 and double pump is enabled for Shotguns (for now).

The loot pool for day one of Fortnite OG will be the same as the loot pool was on day one of Fortnite Battle Royale Chapter 1 Season 1 over seven years ago, with more items being unvaulted as Chapter 1 - Season 1 goes on. Here’s some of what you can expect:
