He is singing with way more passion and charisma and it's the type of autotune / pitch correcting I like that he uses. The overall song is way more colorful and exciting. Even though I like it, Fountains sounds kind of bland. Reminds me of Loyal with PND in that regard.
Plus it actually feels like his song. Fountains feels like one of many songs on the album that seems like he was just featured on it and took the song for himself.

Easily fountains. Something about the chorus on Mention Me sounds off to me. But FOUNTAINS. That opening verse is crack.

Oct 10, 2021How come the label could influence what did or didn’t make the album? I thought he was essentially independent now and only has a distribution/marketing deal with universal? If so, wouldn’t Drake have complete creative control?
