How is this stacking up against softCORE? (I loved that record)
It's her best album
after 2 listens i can say i'm probably gonna end up digging it just as much as softCORE. obviously a different sound so if the noisy, more punk influence is what drew you to it then that'll be missing. but other than that it's melodic and interesting as always
Will give this a listen asap
PS Can’t find the thread where you recommended her, but ive been loving Sierra Ferrell’s stuff.

ayeee you been down at the dollar bill bar
this was quite a surprise for me coming off of softcore and the cover of this project def had me thinking I was in for another punk project but this was really cool and a nice subversion. also got a nice little taste of steve lacy production. can't wait for his next project
war fire
Damn near everything Steve touches is gold, these two need to keep making music together for as long as possible. So many amazing collaborations between them
Feel like Home is the one
still around is one of the best songs of the year, I better see it on them lists
was gonna say we need Steve on a flowers remix but he didn't work on that one i can hear him singing the chorus melody so clearly in my head lol
also been tryna think of who closer to god reminds me of, and it's 070 Shake. kinda sounds like something she'd do. we still need her album

Rice and peas got me craving oxtails so it’s instanty one of my favorite songs of the year
this could be the biggest hurdle i've had
but to love is so much greater than to have
when you give your heart so freely, so be it
as it's taking nothing from me, giving thanks to all we see...
i wanna be your pride and your joy!!!!!!!!!!!!
Feels like Home and 100 Bux are crazy ear worms
