Creed Aventus / Pineapple Vintage Intense / Parfums Vintage Emperor EDP
Xerjoff Naxos and BR540 (either version) - these 2 are better suited in the winter but I love them in warm weather aswell and theyd make beautiful wedding scents

EDP I think
From what i've been reading it seems like limited edition parfum is best smelling overall but the original (edit) has best performance/sillage

i'm on the fence w it. i realized after buying it i meant to actually buy the EDP rather than Extrait.
It's a very odd scent. more generally in terms of perfumery, it's definitely a masterpiece of formulation. The sillage and performance on this thing are also beyond reason; I think any more than 2 sprays of this thing could kill a small child
while the original was very otherworldly and had a very mineral or herbal quality, this one is dark, smoky, and leathery.
i've heard someone say it has notes of curry or smoked meat, and while i can see what they mean, i think that's just the mixture of dried fruit ad saffron used in it. the saffron is strong in this (like incredibly strong), and it's the only base note besides akigalawood, which contrasts with it to make the overall smell almost metallic. There's also an incredibly amount of incense and myrrh which contrast with that to add the smokiness and intensify the leather aspects. there's also mandarin and immortelle in there which are the only things carrying the essence of the original - they do appear during the dry down, but the dry down on this thing is long af. this thing could easily last over a day, if it got onto clothes that scent is never coming off ever.
the thing is that the scent is so unique i can barely intuit what it is i'm actually smelling. i think this is why the range of reviews are from peopel calling it smoked meat to people saying it's like a natural resin to others saying it smells like an imperial palace. i saw someone say if the original is the ocean, this one's the moon, which seems like an apt description.

The curry-like spiciness comes from immortelle apparently and it was too strong for me in the extrait. The edp is fresher and fruitier which makes it an easier wear that wont really offend others
