slimreapercantrapme personally, i found that sht amazing
if it had been me who dropped 2k on that, I'd feel like i got everything i asked for and more
but ik ktt full of ppl who never heard a jungle track b4, who care more abt appearances than experiences
the only issue with this set was how messy it was but it was otherwise great

He’s lightweight locked into a box of blonde from what people expect, and he did something that was completely out of left field which I have to respect
I mean you gotta admit that the execution was pretty flawed...
The thing that struck me immediately was the stage: the whole thing was technically one giant ass screen with only the room being the reference point. It's Frank putting a filter between the audience and himself like aways, and there's certainly a world where the spontaneous nature of it felt like a "Frank Ocean: Unplugged" in terms of intimacy and playfulness.
The problem is Frank couldn't help being pretentious as f*** so what it turned into was EDM mixes of his own songs shoe horned into the set at random, followed by three songs of Frank not singing at all trying to be the next Kodak Black meme after about six years of hiding.

why is it not getting through to you ppl that frank is over making music. if he wanted to he would. if he was capable enough he would. even kanye when he’s at his least caring and capable can churn out SOMETHING enjoyable. kanye can focus 99% on fashion and 1% on music and still deliver harder than frank has his entire career.
frank never ever seemed to want this. i can’t see that changing as he’s seen how awful and toxic his/the OF fan base is (remember flog gnaw?), how much mainstream and social media have profited off his silence, and who knows what he’s dealing with internally with losing his brother.
