LABRADORi dont think that artists have to do this extra s*** when releasing music. I think almost everybody enjoys him because of his music only. The magazine, the visual album is definitely a creative choice he decided to make because he wanted to. Personally, i feel like is a bad decision, because it shifts away the focus from interesting projects to the actual album, like Endless. If he released Endless and dropped Blonde months later, people would've recognized the greatness of that album, but instead all the attention got shifted to Blonde, that dropped few days later
i agree somewhat. i think at this point people would just enjoy some new tunes from frank, and it's more of a personal challenge for him to find a new concept to deliver it, more than a need of the fans. but as we can see for someone like beyoncé, who has delivered those types of experiences time and time again, the fans are left a bit disappointed if its "just music." kinda crazy but that's just where we're at rn

He needed the stunts as a new artist to advertise his presence (he did come out for publicity…), then needed to make something big after buying his Masters back, but he’s made it now and could just release an album after minimal teasing and expenses. He’s just not into it anymore.
