I’ll never forget my first listen. I came home from college orientation and found out that he uploaded the album on Tumblr to stream. One of my favorite first listens and I was in love with the album. I can’t believe that was 10 years ago
Classic album. Aged extremely well
The first album I ever bought on iTunes. An iconic, classic album. Definitely running this today
Album didn’t click till 2017 for me
I was drunk on a Joshua tree roof at 17 in love with a girl who was miles away while this album was playing
Got niggas tryna argue about Frank Oceans legend status on Channel day.
Might need one of y’all to post my bail
Channel Orange was such a great and strong (re) introduction to fans/new listeners. I think it's amazing he managed to deliver something that was both wildly fanciful yet deeply personal, and also so atemporal. This album has stood the test of time so well (Lost getting major buzz this year being the perfect instance of this). Not even taking into account the context this was released under, in a time where the music landscape was still kinda adamant to embrace black queer artists, this album was groundbreaking in its songwriting, production and execution. A true modern day classic!

God damn man this s*** reminds me of 8th grade
Album dropped right before I started high school. S*** carried me for 4 years. Listened to it every single time I went to the beach for the first time each summer. So many emotions entrenched in this album. Just gave it a full listen through and it still does the job. Happy birthday CO
