Idk I watched the show and while it was a mess there were some great moments there i also wasn't there so I'm not gonna get mad

The saddest thing about this is there's a world where this show would have actually went over REALLY well. The big ass screen reminds me of something Gorillaz used to do when they were first coming out, and that was a cartoon band. A lot of the covers that he did sing along with the acoustic versions of his songs were really well done and inspired; the aesthetics also really gave me that VH1 Storyteller/Unplugged vibe generally.

The problem is that he showed an hour late, threw a random 10 minute DJ mix into the middle of his own set, didn't really perform after that point and scrapped an entire other set and concept last minute for a completely different one that made no sense in context.

Yeah no one will remember this a decade from now when the album drops

The first show was in Seattle on my bday. I told him that all I wanted for my bday and Christmas was to buy tickets for us. Cheap nosebleeds whatever the hell it was and he didn’t and proceeded to by me gifts that I don’t remember and probably didn’t need and or want and I’m sure the receipts would have added up to a nice night watching Yeezus. I understand that a lot of people just want him to just come out on stage and sing songs exactly how they sound on the album and have a singalong all night. But to me that s*** is boring when it’s an artist like Frank and not what I wanted or expected. I really f***ed with all the remixes and was vibing in the crowd
