Frank literally banned the Coachella camera crew from photographing
hmm I guess that actually makes sense with the whole no streaming thing, I think the only people he wanted shooting it were his own team for that big ass screen
professional photographs from this would've been awesome
"I was there, Frank's one of my favorite artists ever, the first dance at my wedding was to Godspeed. But the show was very strange and very bad, and this explanation is 100% bullshit from his camp. He was dancing just fine while the entire MP3 of "Nights" played; I'm no doctor, but that doesn't look like a broken ankle. It also doesn't account for the three minutes of momentum-destroying silence between every song. There were many, many confusing things about the set, but his voice sounded beautiful in the instances when he actually sang, so my biggest question is why he spent so little time singing and so much time aux-cord-DJ-ing his own songs. I came in without much expectation of him actually performing, so I wasn't devastated the way some others seemed to be, and of course he doesn't owe any of us anything, but overall it felt like a little bit of a f***-you."
I don't wanna hate on Frank. I love the dudes music and will gladly listen to whatever he puts out next, whenever he's ready. I take back some of the harsh statements I made earlier. He's human too.
I always forget that you're clock
Heard at your best from this finally. Guy is unreal but how he fumbled this from being a Coachella set for the ages needs to be studied
This was the slide remix played
The "top 5 top 5 top 5" went crazy last night. Really wish we could've experienced this whole section of the set on a proper livestream because I think it would've been better received
Hope you're doing well bud
I'm doing well
waiting for some hopium from Frank
Someone make a white Ferrari Coachella beat CDQ please

this was one for the ages regardless, for the true heads
It's not even the performance (vocally) that went badly, it's literally everything else.
Mix in the late start due to last minute changes, the poorly curated setlist and the decision not to livestream and we have our current situation. The setlist was the one that did the most damage imo. People (justifiably) went in with the expectation that it was going to be a carbon copy of the shows he did 2017 but he clearly had other plans. There's nothing wrong with doing something new (I love some of the reworks) but a 50 min set where 10 of these 50 mins essentially being Homer Radio live is insanity. I feel like people just didn't respond to it the way he thought they would and would have benefitted from playing it safer. It's also being understated how much that last minute set change derailed his whole performance. Most of time him and the guys on stage looked like they were figuring it out together in real time (not the music but the actual orchestration of the show and what to play next). S*** looked and felt so rushed and impromptu.
Also that ankle story is hilarious because there's really no need for it. We're all inclined to believe it's not true cause he was bouncing around the stage at one point.
Absolutely. When he actually performed, it was incredible. It’s just everything else that was a mess lol.

This is how I felt when he cancelled his Primavera set after I already flew across the world to see him. Gave him the benefit of the doubt. It's obvious now he's lazy and an a******.

Lol
if he's gonna pull out when do we think that'd be announced? i feel like coachella would have def put some crazy financial penalties for pulling out in the contract after the ye fiasco last year
i feel like I’m taking crazy pills that i enjoyed that set so much lol not even copium i just genuinely thought it was cool & all the reworks were amazing

The actual music was dope. The fact that he showed up an hour late and had an odd dj set in the middle is what’s killing him.
yeah thats the main rumor going around rn. that and the ankel incident
whats the ankle thing?
