After rewatching this and thinking about it I get why he killed the livestream. I think the ice rink was supposed to be a big part of the visuals and this was meant to be seen like a film but something changed day of. From the way they shot it and the stage setup meant to focus on the screen, the inner child segment having a kid lipsynching, the shots of the ice skaters walking during the dj set, the diff song versions that felt like they could be on a coming of age movie, just felt very a24. Like he was making a concert film for them or sumn.

He was probably perc 30-d up with a minor ankle injury that would’ve limited his ability to skate around for 90 minutes but not to walk and jump around for ~10 minutes total

anyone pretending any of this makes sense isn’t thinking very hard. there was no reason for Frank to upend everything the day of, let alone in the final hour. there just wasn’t. you can say he had a mental breakdown hours before his set, that’s a fine theory, but this ankle nonsense is ridiculous. they say the accident happened during the week before Coachella weekend. so blame the ankle all you want Frankie but it doesn’t even begin to explain why you were such an a****** to your entire crew and your fans.
